We finally made it to Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. 5 (well, sort of...4 eighteen hole courses, and a thirteen hole par 3 course) spectacular courses set along the Pacific. Very reminiscent of Ireland and Scotland (so I'm told, we haven't made the trip there yet). Even the weather was pretty windy/rainy/cold!
Here are a few: I've also posted them at the following link: Bandon Dunes. I'll put more here as I finish up processing over the next few days.

Birding
Maybe it's spring! Birds are coming back, some that I didn't see last year. Some recent shots of birds:
Avocets: we went kayaking in one of the marshes. This family must be on eggs already.
Marsh Wren: We were surprised he stayed as long as he did while I kayaked right up to him.
Bullock's Oriole: Mark and I had seen some of these at a park, but when we got home this guy was in my yard!
Black Chinned Hummingbird: There are a few hummers around right now. There's also a female, that we've had the chance to watch this little guy dance for.
Lazuli Buntings: I had about 5-6 of these little guys feeding. They are skittish, but i got pretty close to the feeder and sat still. They came back!

Craters of the Moon
I finally figured out how to get there with the plane...fly then bike the 17 miles to the park. Needless to say, I'm exhausted after the 40 miles on bike and 3+ hours in plane. At least I now know I can put the bike in plane.
Taken right after the hood of my lens fell down into the crater...I was not chasing it!
I wanted to go exploring the caves a bit more, but didn't bring either a flashlight or the correct shoes... This is Indian Tunnel at the beginning (as far as I was willing to venture)
Here are some pics...
