Last day, another hike...

Who needs bear spray... I needed elk spray today!  This guy kept coming closer and closer (non-agressively).  I couldn't back away fast enough.

Yellowstone Lake:  the lake sits at about 7700' altitude, is 22 miles long and 14 miles wide (or the other way around).  There are geysers on the shore near West Thumb, but water is still very very cold..

Went to Bear river again.  No babies yet, but lots of birds...

I am still amazed to see all the shore birds to include the pelicans....
